A hereditary cancer risk assessment is the key to identifying patients and families who may be at increased risk of developing certain types of cancer.  This assessment should be performed by all health care providers on a routine basis.  Dr. Dorcas Chi, MD, UCLA oncologist, will focus on the understanding of hereditary breast ovarian cancer syndrome, as well as various hereditary GI cancer syndromes.
