Walking for Wellness at the Rose Bowl

A walking group at the Pasadena Rose Bowl facilitated by Cherelle Moellendorf. The group meets at the Rose Bowl Children Playground along Parking Lot I, near Kidspace Museum, 480 N Arroyo Blvd, Pasadena 91103. Please arrive a few minutes early to park and meet up. The walk has a couple of inclines and is approximately 3.5 mi long, though people can make the walk shorter if they need to. By attending this program, you are self-attesting to be vaccinated against COVID 19.

Shaking off Stress and Tension with TRE

TRE, or Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises, is a series of easy-to-follow exercises that assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma. The practice safely activates a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or vibrating in the body that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system and helping the body restore to a state of balance. Stephanie Wong, who had suffered burnout and fatigue herself, is passionate about helping people find peace and joy in their lives. As a life coach, she also supports individuals who seek a purposeful and soul-satisfying life.
Up, Down, & Around: Cardio and Strength Training

Tai chi is a internal Chinese martial art practiced for defense training, health benefits, and meditation. The blending of the body and the mind through the practice has existed for generations. Tai chi is performed in a dance-like, martial arts form. It is low impact, and depending on the person's fitness level the practice can be adapted. If mobility is limited, the forms maybe completed on a chair. Taught by Adrianne Aguirre, certified Tai Chi instructor.
